20th Annual USRA Fall Nationals at Vado Speedway Park Next Up
Woodward, Oklahoma (10/15/19) – Dereck Ramirez added another win to the 2019 tally on Saturday evening in his Ramirez Motorsports No. 4r Koda Services/ Boom-Test Well Service/ Hughes Race Car/Cornett Racing Engine Modified. His latest conquest came during the opening round of the Winter Nationals at Oklahoma’s Longdale Speedway.
“The folks at Longdale Speedway are really doing a great job at that place, and it was a lot of fun to get back there this weekend,” Ramirez said. “We had a fast car both days and came away with a win and a runner-up finish. We’re now looking ahead to the USRA Fall Nationals at Vado Speedway Park. Hopefully we can add another big win to the 2019 resume.”
Dereck Ramirez invaded Longdale Speedway (Longdale, Oklahoma) on Saturday night piloting his Boom-Test Well Service No. 4r Modified entry in the opening round of the two-day Winter Nationals. In a field of 21 competitors, Dereck passed five cars in his heat race to pick up the 10-lap victory.
Starting the main event in the second position Ramirez outran Rodney Sanders to record his seventh win of the season, which came over Sanders, R.C. Whitwell, Cole Traugott, and Jason Hughes.
With his spot already locked into the finale on Sunday, Ramirez improved two spots in the 30-lapper to finish second behind Rodney Sanders with Jason Hughes, Cole Traugott, and Kenny Wallace completing the Top-5 finishers.

The team will now take a break before returning to competition on October 25-27 with the 20th annual Rancho Milagro USRA Fall Nationals at the brand-new Vado Speedway Park (Vado, New Mexico). The weekend is headlined by a $20,000-to-win finale on Sunday evening.
