Lebanon, MO; Ken Dickinson has as many laps around the Lebanon I-44 Speedway as anyone and it showed on Saturday night as he took his Larry Phillips Chassis to Monster Energy Victory Lane in thrilling fashion on Saturday night.

Tanner Berryhill, grabbed the early lead of the 30 lap Late Model Feature, as the field stacked up behind him three and four wide, with everyone battling hard to get to the front. Ken Dickinson came charging up to second place on lap two and set his sights on the lead in the early going. Dickinson would waste no time, grabbing the lead just before lap 10, as Joe Ross, Kyle Steffens and Mike Sloan battled their way into the top half of the field. Dickinson and Ross put on a thrilling battle for the lead while, Mike VanNoy, Sloan, Steffens, and Vanzandt put on a ferocious three way battle for third. Dickinson and Ross pulled away from the field, with Ross hounding the back bumper of Dickinson the entire second half of the race. Ross would look low several times and made his final move for the lead with two laps to go. Ross dove low in turn one while Dickinson held his line, using the momentum off of turn two to hold on to the lead. Dickinson held off Ross to take home his first win of the season in thrilling fashion. Slone would win the battle for third, with Steffens and Vanzandt rounding out the top five in one of the best races seen at the speedway in years.

Jason Otto, who had come close to taking home the Modified feature two weeks in a row to start the season, finally broke in to victory lane on Saturday night in a wild and thrilling Modified feature. Tony Jackson, Jr. drove all night after competing Friday night in the Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway, and would continue his drive all the way to the lead of the Modified feature by lap number two. Jackson pulled away from the field as last week’s winner Robert Baltzell and Otto came charging through the field. Darren Fullerton, making his I-44 Speedway debut, lost control of his car in turn four, bringing out the caution on lap 6. The caution would completely change what looked like to be a dominating feature win for Jackson, as his car lost the motor in turn one just after the caution came out. The blown motor would end Jackson’s night and bring the feature to a halt while track officials cleaned up the oil in turns one and two. Baltzell would bring the field back to the green flag and looked to be headed to his second win in a row until disaster struck for him just past the halfway point when he got up out of the groove and in to the oil dry coming out of turn two. Baltzell would spin down the backstretch in front of the field, miraculously no one hit him and he would rejoin the rear of the field after the caution, handing the lead to Otto. Otto brought the field to green, and would have his hands full the rest of the feature with a hard charging and determined Brian Brown. Otto and Brown battled wheel to wheel for the lead wheel over the final eight circuits, as Brown pulled dead even at the line when the two to go signal was given. Otto would hold him off over the final two laps to take home his first victory of the season. Phil Harris came home third; Baltzell came all the way back up to fourth, and Fullerton rounded out the top five.

Payton Lucas, at the ripe old age of 14, dominated to the night in the Pure Streets, winning both the Carget Motors Dash for Cash, and the feature over fellow young gun Steven Counterman. Lucas and Counterman came charging through the field, and went three wide for the lead just past the halfway point with point leader Steve Shaw, with Lucas taking over the top spot. Lucas would hold off Counterman to sweep the night. Robby Snider, Mike Scott and Eric Snyder rounded out the top five in the wild feature event.

Dale Roper Jr. picked up where he left off the first two weeks, holding off a hard charging Mike Coryell for his third feature win in a row. Gary Davenport held off Josh Arl to win his second Charger feature in a row.

Racing will resume next Saturday night as the Late Models will once again go for the added money in the Carget Motors Dash for Cash. The Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Streets and Chargers will also be on hand for week four of the Monster Energy Chase for the Cup. Gates will open at 5:00 P.M., with hotlaps at 6 and racing at 7:30.
