DOE RUN, MO--(May 31, 2004) Friday night featured fast paced action and plenty of new faces in victory lane at the Doe Run Raceway.

In the Mini Stock class, Eric Bellew was a frequent visitor to the winner's circle last season but hadn't made a return trip until this past weekend, winning all three of his events earning him a triple crown for the night. Dave Wofford Jr. was second behind Bellew in the A-main followed by Marty Boyer, Joe Ketcherside and Brian McGee. McGee finished second to Bellew in the first heat with Steve Wright third. Chuck White earned himself a heat race win for his birthday in the second heat, Boyer second and Ketcherside third. Boyer finished second to Bellew in the dash with McGee third.

Megan Bell started racing in the Super Stock Kart class last season at Doe Run Raceway but hadn't made that all important trip to victory lane. That is, until this past Friday night when she carried the checkers twice. Bell, who earned her front row starting position in the A-Main by winning her heat race, jumped out front at the drop of the green flag and led every lap. Wayne Arnold finished second in the A-Main, Kodi Giessing third, Brad Paquet fourth and Braydon Wright fifth. Giessing followed Bell across the line in the heat race with Arnold close behind for third place.

Scott Hutchins picked up a feature win in the Stock Kart class, Braydon Wright second, Brad Paquet third, Garrett LaBruyere fourth and Michael Hutchison fifth. Wright won the heat race with Hutchins second and Hutchison third.

Twenty Dwarf Cars signed in for the evening's events with the A-Main going to Mike Zaricor. John Leahy Jr. had to settle for second place followed by Bobby Black, Vince Conway and Glenn Province. Zaricor won the first heat, Black second and Dom Wadlow third. Danny Haynes won the second heat followed by John Leahy Jr. and Vince Conway.

In night one of the Non Winged Multi Point Series, Junior Ferguson looked to be well on his way to a triple crown, winning the first heat and the dash until developing motor problems that kept him on the sidelines during the A-Main. Honors for the A-Main went to Tony Roney who did an outstanding job of holding off the charge of Rob Larson. Brad Loyet finished third, Casey Barnhouse fourth and Lance McKinney fifth. Barnhouse finished second to Ferguson in the first heat with Roney third. Loyet won the second heat followed by Jimmy Bridgeman and Larson. Roney also finished second to Ferguson in the six lap dash with Larson taking third.
