DOE RUN, MO-- Sixteen cars were on hand Friday night in the Dwarf Car class at Doe Run Raceway, but when the checkered flag flew it was Vince Conway crossing the line first for the second consecutive week. Conway currently leads the Dwarf Car point standings by 33 points.

Following Conway across the stripe in the A-Main were Sam Layton second, Steve Copeland third, Billy Craig fourth and Bill Beard fifth. John Leahy Jr. won the first heat, Jim Black second and Copeland third. Conway won the second heat followed by Glenn Province and Mike Zaricor.

Casey Barnhouse leads the 600cc Multi points standings by 29 points after his triple crown Friday night. Tony Roney finished second to Barnhouse in the A-Main followed by Junior Ferguson, Jeremy Boyer and Tommy Boyd. Eric Giessing won the first heat, Joey Boyd second and Roney third. Tommy Boyd finished in the runner-up spot behind Barnhouse in the second heat, Boyer third. Joey Boyd and Tony Roney finished second and third behind Barnhouse in the dash.



Eric Bellew increased his lead in the Mini Stock points to 76 points after winning the A-Main and the six lap dash. Ron Moser finished second to Bellew in the main event, Joe Ketcherside third, Carl Bellew Jr. fourth and CJ Wright fifth. Ketcherside won the first heat, CJ Wright second and Bill Nickelson third. Moser won the second heat, Eric Bellew second and Carl Bellew Jr. third. Moser was second in the dash, Nickelson third.



Braydon Wright continues to lead the Stock Kart point standings. He is currently 22 points ahead of his brother Jesse Wright in their march to the championship. Braydon Wright picked up two wins in the class Friday night, winning both the feature event and the heat race. Jesse Wright finished second and Brad Paquet finished third in both races. Landon Barks finished fourth in the A-Main, Scott Hutchins fifth.



Wayne Arnold leads the Super Stock Kart standings by 40 points after an impressive showing Friday night, winning both the heat race and the feature. Megan Bell finished second to Arnold in the feature, Brad Paquet third, Kodi Giessing fourth and Michael Harp fifth. Harp was second in the heat race with Paquet third.



Friday July 23rd will be the third in a series of non-winged shows for the 600cc Multi class. They will also receive double points for the night. Other classes participating will be the Dwarf, Mini Stock, Stock and Super Stock Karts.
