Drew Armstrong Ends Season with Top 5; Arkansas State Champion

Alexander, Arkansas (10/26/11) – Drew Armstrong and Armstrong Auto-Sports concluded their 2011 season campaign on Saturday night with a top five finish at I-30 Speedway.

Drew concluded his 2011 season on Saturday night at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) with one, final Weekly Racing Series Event. Twenty-seven Open Wheel Modifieds entered the event, and heat race action found Drew starting on the pole before scoring a second place finish to lock into the 9th starting spot for the feature. In the main event Armstrong would go on to advance four spots on his way to a fifth place finish behind race winner, Randy Weaver, Patrick Linn, Casey Findley, and David Baser. Drew finished fourth in the final I-30 Speedway Open Wheel Modified points. He was the IMCA Arkansas State Champion and finished 19th in the IMCA Central Region standings out of a field that included hundreds of competitors.
