Macon, IL – Macon Speedway will be hosting their first Driver-Sponsor Appreciation Night of the season this coming Saturday, April 17th. Fans will have the chance to enter onto the track to obtain autographs and photos with their favorite local heros. It will also be the first of six Kid’s Club events of the year with exciting new activities planned for all of Macon Speedway’s youngest fans to participate in, plus new this year all kids club members will receive an official kids club t-shirt provided by Macon Speedway and Dr. Bret Jerger. This weekend will be the second edition to Macon Speedway’s “Best Fan in the Stands” where a lucky fan will win $200 this week if their name is draw from the box after the Modified feature event. If the Best Fan in the Stands is not present the prize money will roll over into next week’s prize. Macon Speedway will also be drawing an extra 50/50 ticket to give one lucky fan a ride in the Macon Speedway 2 seater Late Model driven by one of Macon Speedway’s local drivers.
Saturday night’s schedule will feature all six UMP divisions, including the Late Models, Modifieds, Sportsmen, Street Stock, Pro Hornets, and the Amateur Hornets. There will be added purse money paid to the top UMP Late Model and UMP Modified winner in each of their divisions with the Late Model winner taking home $1,200 to win and the UMP Modified winner taking home $600 for their first place finish.

With many fan favorite events on schedule, including three “Night of NASCAR Stars” nights planned and the famous Herald and Review 100, UMP’s premier SummerNational event, 2010 is stacking up to be a memorable year.
