For All of You who must get into everyone's business!!

Our reasoning behind going to Montogomery included sponsorship committments and personal reasons of Ed's.
We had a great night racing Mel's track, and afterwards the party that Mel put on was spectacular! The food was awesome and the beer was ice cold! We stayed too long and decided to take the day off for obvious reasons.
As far as cherry picking, the points are already over! ED DIXON MOTORSPORTS sends our congratulations to Rick, Rodney and the crew. Rodney and Ed are good friends and competitors. Ed has no problems with Rodney or any other competition. It seems the fans have their own rivalry, it just reflects back to the drivers. Both are excellent racers!

This Friday we will be racing at Godfrey in the ALLEN AUTOMOTIVE #16A car. Saturday we will be at I-55 in the #50.

Thank you Danny, Congratulations to you your dad and crew. You guys really had a good year. If you are like me you don't pay much attention to the Rodney and Ed bashings. If some of these fans really new what it takes each week, the amount of hours of maintance it takes to run two or three nights a week, then they would have respect for the drivers that make it to there local tracks to run every week. Anyway, Congratulations see you at the banquet. Rick
 
Congrats Dixon on a good season and for breaking O'neals record (11.944) at Montgomery with an 11.870. Hope you come back to MCS to try and break that new record. Good luck next year. I don't think Dixon had to bad of a season to finish second in the nation with 12 dnf's is a great job.

For those of you who think Dixon went to mcs to cherry pick if you would have been there you would have seen near the end of the race Brain Collinz was on Dixons tail a few more laps and Collina MIGHT have passed Dixon, and I'm a huge fan of Dixon.

Now Danny don't you know if you are going to take a Sunday off it has to be for the River !!!!!:rolleyes: Continued Success to all the teams that race every weekend and be safe over the winter...

^ We had 17 flats while leading this year, all but 1 tire was cut, I figure two may have been wall contact. LOL The loss of two motors leading, 1 ignition coil, 2 sets of rearend gears and a driveshaft, so not bad to finish where we did for the year.
 
Great job of racing this year Ed! Congradulations on your Season championships at Godfrey and Pevely. I have to say nobody makes it as interesting to watch at Pevely as you do on the high side. Hope to see you in the CoC Extravaganza at Pevely! Good Luck this weekend at Godfrey and I-55!!!
 
I must say that I have loved to watch Dixon race pevely since before I can remember being a race fan. Congratulations on a great season at both tracks and look forward to what next year brings.
