EQ Wild West Tour doubleheader at Desert Thunder postponed

PRICE, Utah (May 19) – Forecasts calling for more precipitation in the area have resulted in postponement of this weekend’s scheduled EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Tour doubleheader at Desert Thunder Raceway.
The IMCA Modiified twinbill at Price will move from May 20-21 to Friday and Saturday, May 27-28. No change was made in times for either program. Desert Thunder opens the pit gates at 2 p.m. and the grandstand at 4 p.m. both days, hot laps follow the 5:30 p.m. drivers’ meeting and racing starts at 7 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $6 for kids ages 6-12 and free for young¬sters five and under. A family pass is $25. Two-day passes are $16 for adults, $12 for seniors and $10 for kids.

All EQ Wild West Tour features pay $1,000 to win and are qualifying events for the 2011 or 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invita¬tional ballots if there are 40 or more entries. First place will pay $750 if there are 39 or fewer en¬tries.
