The FASTRAK Racing Series has announced that all upcoming Track Promoters meetings have been canceled due to overwhelming response of recently announced programs.
“It has been and unbelievable response of tracks and teams wanting to get involved in what we have going on as a company,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “considering the time of the year, Stan’s retirement, and several have requested appointments, we simply can’t do the rest of the meetings.”
The meetings were scheduled for Brunswick, GA, Princeton, WV, and Dalton, GA over the course of the next month. FASTRAK recently announced a possible sponsorship for tracks who become weekly sanctioned and host events with the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance.
“I spoke with Stan this morning and he said don’t worry about, no one will be upset because we have gotten such a tremendous response,” continued Irvine, “Track promoters are good people and when you run out of time, well that’s it.”
In the coming weeks, FASTRAK plans to announce a live video conference for any additional promoters or teams that want to meet. The meeting will be hosted via Skype.
“Skype gives us all the opportunity to meet face to face without travel expenses,” said Irvine, “It’s really as simple as using Facebook, I will be updating everyone when the time comes.”
