"Fastrak heads north on I-75 to the Bluegrass State"
The Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Kentucky, or otherwise known as the
"Action Track" will see a new lineup to the Weekly Racing card, as the
Fastrak Racing Series will Weekly Sanction the 1/4 mile dirt oval located
just a few miles east of Richmond, Kentucky. The weekly crate class will be
added to the lineup of other racing divisions on the Saturday night racing
card. New owners Shayne Puckett and Brandon Whitt took over the promotional
reigns of the Richmond Raceway back in late January and have major plans for
the racing grounds and facility. The Fastrak Racing Series drivers who plan
on racing weekly at Richmond Raceway, will have a shot at the $250,000
National Points Championship at the end of the season.
The Fastrak Racing Series Mid-East Region will sanction an event during the
season with that date To Be Announced. The National points championship
chase for the Fastrak Racing Series starts on March 24-25 at the West
Georgia Speedway in Whitesburg, Georgia paying $2,000 to win for the two-day
event for the Southern and Mid-East Regions.
