Carnesville, GA (Mar-5) – Heat races just completed at the 2nd running of the Modoc 100 at Modoc Speedway. Forty-nine cars were signed in for Friday’s Fastrak/City Chevrolet qualifying events, where Blairsville’s Jonathan Davenport earned the City Chevrolet Fast Time Award and $500 for his blistering lap of 17.327 seconds.
The top three finishers in each heat would be locked into the starting grid for Saturday night’s running of the Modoc 100, while the others on the outside would have some work left for Saturday and the remaining twelve starting spots. Heat results were as follows.
