SMURFBLUE3

FORD PARTS PUSHER
are your guys going to let RAMS cars compete with your cars???
the rules are just a little differnt in a few area's I know a few guys would like to go race at doe run if the rock got rained-out
just asking??

3. Stock intake for type of vehicle you are racing. No aftermarket or homemade intakes allowed.

5. Any exhaust may be used. Exhaust must extend past drivers compartment and exit either to the side or rear of vehicle. Exhaust may be painted white or rusted. No ceramic coating or wrapping of exhaust allowed. Stock or turbo mufflers mandatory. No glass packs or catalytic converters for mufflers.

12. Weight jacks allowed. Car or truck must use same type of suspension that it came out of the factory with. Leaf spring cars must remain leaf spring, coil springs may not be used. Coil spring cars must remain coil spring, leaf springs may not be used. One racing style shock allowed per wheel. No coil overs.

I see these 3 rules may keep some of us out
the other thing I need to know is it doesn't say anything about a aftermarket nose

also will you have a one week compliance rule (or cuoresity rule) like other tracks??

thanks

Aftermarket noses do not affect the performance of the engine so there is no problem with those.

All the rules you have questions about must be followed with the exception of the aftermarket noses.

There is no one week grace period to meet our specs.

well that's good to know.

I have a stock intake, i've got a muffler, and the same suspension as the Doe Run boys. My only question was my aftermarket nose. Thanks for the info Doe Run Raceway.
