MADISON, Ill. – What’s better than being a Justin Allgaier fan at Gateway International Raceway? Sitting with hundreds of other fans of the Riverton, Ill.-native during the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 thanks to Gateway International Raceway’s special fan seating initiative.

For the NASCAR Nationwide Series’ return to the St. Louis area July 18, GIR is offering race fans of Allgaier, two-time Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 winners Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick, and Kyle Busch the opportunity to sit in special sections at GIR with their fellow fans.

"One of the great things about college sports is knowing the guy next to you is just as passionate about your team as you are," said Gateway International Raceway Vice President and General Manager Lenny Batycki. "We want to bring that same Game Day atmosphere to Gateway so fans of Kyle Busch can all band together and root for ‘The Wild Card,’ and Harvick supporters can cheer ‘Happy’ on to a possible third win here."

Allgaier already has nearly 1,000 fans from the Springfield area going to Gateway to see their hometown hero put his #12 Penske Racing Dodge in GIR’s new Victory Lane. Edward’s "Ed Heads" are close behind with his loyal following planning to pour in from Columbia, Mo., and all over the Midwest. While Allgaier and Edwards both count GIR as their home track, Batycki said he doesn’t think the sections designated for Busch and Harvick supporters will be lacking in fans.

"With Kevin’s legacy here at Gateway as well as what he’s done with Richard Childress Racing, he has fans wherever he goes. And after Kyle’s big win at our sister track, Nashville Superspeedway, we’re expecting a rush for seats in his section."

To order tickets for the Justin Allgaier section, Carl Edwards section, Kyle Busch section, or the Kevin Harvick section, visit GatewayRaceway.com or call 866-35-SPEED. Other ticket packages, including GIR’s Track Pack, which includes tickets to both the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 and the Camping World 200 on Sept. 12 and exclusive access to the driver autograph sessions and special parking, can also be purchased using the aforementioned information.

Race fans can follow all the action throughout the season at Gateway International Raceway on its official Twitter site at Twitter.com/GatewayRaceway and its official page on Facebook.
