Godfrey Speedway Where Time Stands Still

First of all I am glad that GS started running Late Models again this year, but why do they even advertise a start time for the races there. I thought it was 7:30 p.m. , but hot laps started at 7:20 and didn't get over untill 45 minutes later, and they still had LM qualifying to go. Lining up the cars takes for ever and there is endless parade laps. Maybe the officials can run down to Pevely tonight and take some notes on how Allied runs the show.

Ever stop to think that the carcount is probably almost twice as high in some classes as opposed to previous years?....noooooooooooooo

This issue has been beat to death,and is gettin real old!Think you could step up and do better........go for it!

Man has done one hellava job for what he has been thru this year,and has left room for improvement in his second year as a promotor?Know any other first year promotor's doing this well this year?
 
It is real easy to sit on bleachers drawing flies and thinking of ways to bash other people. Why don't you grow some and run your own track?

there is a thing called gentlemens curfew.......its at 11pm. how many night has godfrey still been racing at 12 and even later??? if they would get started on time and keep on the ball they could be over by 11pm, been to other tracks and they are on the ball and out by 11pm if not earlier. i agree allied knows how to run a show and keep things moving and they dont show favoritism. what goes for one driver goes for all drivers.
 
LOOKING FOR HELP

What I am looking for is a dead horse, to be transported to Godfrey so every one that wants to, can stop by and beat it for a while to get it out of their system. Sure Godfrey has had some problems but what track hasn't. I have never seen a sign that said no one could leave until a certain time, or that there was any penalties if you were not there. While it is true you must pay to get in leaving is FREE, and the steering wheel allows me to go where I want to. That being said, no matter what or where you race someone doesn't like something,but with the weekly car count from the second half of the year, Godfrey is doing more things right than wrong. If I were a betting person I would bet money most of you will still be there next year just like I will. Oh yes one more thing thanks to all the drivers and crews for making a awsome year to watch dirt racing. the bubbabear,---------------------------------------------------------------MIKE MILLER-:cool:
 
Godfreys track has been wicked fast lately keep up the good work wade and crew. I enjoy at tacky track in the SS feature keep up the good work
