HAUDENSCHILD TO APPEAR ON ‘WIND TUNNEL’, CELEBRATE ‘MOPAR MILLION’ WIN
Wooster, OH --- Famed World of Outlaw Sprint Car star Jac Haudenschild of Wooster, OH will spend time with noted motorsports broadcaster Dave Despain on his increasingly popular television program WIND TUNNEL. In addition, plans were announced for a gathering and celebration for Jac “Wild Child” Haudenschild fans to celebrate his historic victory in the MOPAR MILLION at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH on September 20 along with fellow Wooster, OH residents Dean Jacobs and Rob Chaney, both top ten finishers in the MOPAR MILLION.
Haudenschild will be racing in Tunica, Mississippi on Thursday October 16 when he appears via live remote with host Dave Despain on SPEED Channel’s WIND TUNNEL program. Haudenschild will appear for approximately 20 minutes from a location at Harrah’s Casino in Tunica, a sponsor of the O’Reilly World of Outlaws race that Haudenschild will be participating in. WIND TUNNELS airs from 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST. Fans can send E-MAIL questions to windtunnel@speedtv.com or call 1-866-W-TUNNEL from 9:00pm ET - 10:00pm ET Thursday night to be a part of the LIVE call-in portion of the show.
That same evening in Wooster, OH the ‘Wooster Mopar Million Celebration’ will be taking place simultaneously at Buffalo Wild Wings in Wooster [4122 Burbank Road] for the ‘Wild Child’s’ fans and friends. Hosted by Patti Haudenschild, the gathering will begin at 8:30 in a section of the new Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar where a large big-screen television will be available to watch Haudenschild’s live appearance on WIND TUNNEL followed by the airing of the MOPAR MILLION on SPEED Channel.
“It's time to celebrate Jac’s victory, as well as the top ten finishes by Dean Jacobs and Rob Chaney!” said Patti Haudenschild. “All family, friends, and fans of the three (Wooster drivers) are encouraged to come out to BW3's on Thursday night! The Speed Channel's broadcast of the Mopar Million will be playing on the big screens beginning at 10:00 pm right after Jac’s appearance with Dave Despain!”
“This will be the first time the general public will have the chance to watch the race on TV. Fifth place finisher Rob Chaney will be attendance, as will 7th place finisher Dean Jacobs. Jac will be in Mississippi racing with the World of Outlaws, but we will have him hooked up over the telephone periodically throughout the night for anyone wanting to pass on their congratulations to the ‘Mopar Million’ winner.”
