Highland Speedway Highland Speedway?

Well guess not, just on their website. Guess guys that get their cars ready and bring and don't even get to make a single lap, but you give general admission stubs a discount. Just know there is a lot of people not too happy!
 
The pit guys are deserving of a discount if the fans in the stand are,the pit pass went up 5$ this year.it wouldn't hurt to drop it for a week!

I could really careless either way. I'm going to be there regardless! In the end $5 isn't the end of the world but by your reasoning on everyone getting a feature pay out the fans are all gonna get to see the feature events correct?

Why shouldnt we? They didnt run any heats besides the micros or the BMod or Streetstock features. I paid $30 to get in to see those two classes run and didnt see them even pull out onto the track, I think some sort of discount should be awarded considering the people in the grandstands are getting one when they pay what, $12??.... and they werent even the ones that had to deal with all the mud, slop, & rain. I am not dissing on the track for trying to get the race in because obviously we all wanted to see some racing if we went but when the grandstands are being awarded a discount I think its bull if the drivers/crews are not.
 
I don't think there was enough money made to award any more discounts I am sure they tried!! Everything was done with the best intentions to race but no time extension was given bc the next day was Easter nothing worked in their favor!!! So it was just a crazy night
 
Really doesn't matter how you slice it. It was a crappy situation and its time to move forward and stop dwelling on the past. I would gladly pay full price again this week. Although I'm not sure I support the board on the decision last week I have and will continue to support Scott and all of the staff at the track. Tomorrow will be awesome weather so lets all go enjoy some great racing.
 
I agree with you dirtfan84. Either you want to go to Highland and deal with the way they run the program or you don't. It gets really old people on here bashing Highland all the time. They just try to make racing work at the track and some times it doesn't. Lets move on and lets go racing this weekend where ever you go.
 
I do agree with Hewitt's sis that there should be some kind of discount for the pit crews and drivers. They're the ones that put on the show why not give them at least a $5 discount since they don't want to give them free pit passes. Which I do understand that they can't give free pit passes because of there rule of running a "full night" ir not and that they are going to run the other features this week. It just doesn't seem fair that the ones that pay the most to get in and put on the show get screwed. I say either give a discount to all or not at all. Only seems fair to me.
 
Ill agree with the all or none. I just want everyone to have a great race weekend. That and being from highland I get really sick of hearing about how highland screwed up or whatever when every track has its own set of issues that need to be addressed. But what to do is the question-I say go racin!
