How do I get into vintage racing?

Used to help out alot with late models but would love a car of my own. What tracks do the vintage run at and on what kind of schedule. I am around Washington Missouri. Where are the guidlines for building a car? Thanks for any help. Just looking to have a good time!

The schedule for this year is in there also. We run @ Doe Run, I-55, Highland,The Rock, Malden, Montgomery, We are still trying to get @ Bellville this year. I might be missing a track or two but for the most part that is the biggest part of them.

Fist of all, thanks for your interest!

Here is the rest of our schedule as it currently stands. As Tim stated we're still trying to get Belleville, and there are a few other things in the works.

Honestly, the best thing to do if you really want to get involved with our group...come out and meet us at one of our shows. Everyone in this group is very nice, we have a really good group of drivers/crew members. Come out and meet with us, check out the cars, see what goes on behind the scenes, and you'll probably find alot of useful info on building the vintage car that you want. Most of the time, we have someone in the group who can point you in the directions of a car for sale, or at least info on parts to build one. It will also give us the opportunity to meet you...;)

Thanks, I may stop by one of the races. I'm not sure if it will meet the guidlines but I have found an old 57 chevy car that is allready set up. I'll read up on the rules. Thanks for all the help!
