Jonesboro, Arkansas (10/06/11) – Hunter Rasdon continued his torrid, late-season pace by piloting his #r5 Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Open Wheel Modified to the $5,000 win over the weekend in the 39th Annual Louisiana State Dirt Track Championship

Hunter traveled to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) over the weekend for the 39th Annual Louisiana State Dirt Track Championship as a $5,000 winner's check was posted for the Open Wheel Modified division. In heat race action, Hunter would claim the win from the second starting spot, and he would back it up by winning the qualifier from the fourth starting position. Via his heat and qualifier wins, Rasdon locked into the pole starting spot for the finale, and he would go on to lead every lap to claim the win, which came over Chris Henigan, Shane Hebert, Eric Turner, and Howard Willis. The win was his fourth of the season and his second $5,000 payday of the year. Full results are available at www.BoothillSpeedway.org.

This weekend, October 7th-8th, Hunter will travel to Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri) for the annual Nathan Rettig Memorial, which will pay Open Wheel Modifieds, $2,000-to-win. For more information on the event, please visit www.MaldenSpeedway.com .
