Hunter Rasdon Claims $2k Payday in Modified Madness at NEA

Jonesboro, Arkansas (09/14/11) – Hunter Rasdon raced his #r5 Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Open Wheel Modified to the $2,200 win over the weekend in the 1st Annual Modified Madness event at Northeast Arkansas Speedway.

Last weekend, September 9th-10th, was another great outing for the team as Hunter entered the 1st Annual Modified Madness at his home track, Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas). O n Friday night, Hunter won his heat race from the seventh starting spot to lock into the pole-sitter's dash on Saturday night.

Saturday would find Hunter claiming the $200 win in the pole-sitter's dash to earn the pole for the $2,000-to-win feature. Rasdon would bolt to the lead early in the feature and went on to claim the win, which was his third of the season. Full results are available at www.NEASpeedway.com.

This weekend the teams plan to enter a pair of events. First on tap is a $1,000-to-win, USCS Modified event at Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri) on Saturday night. Sunday night will see the team in action with the Casey's General USMTS tour at West Plains Motor Speedway in a $2,000-to-win event.
