Jonesboro, Arkansas (06/08/10) – Hunter Rasdon from Jonesboro, Arkansas recorded an impressive second place over the weekend in the Doug Murphrey Memorial in his #R5 MSH Motorsports/ATG Electrical Contractors/GRT By Rasdon/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Open Wheel Modified.
After the terrible luck that Hunter and the team have been experiencing, things finally got back on track over the weekend as they traveled to Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana for a $5,000 to win, Open Wheel Modified event. A stellar field of 98 Open Wheel Modifieds entered the event, and in heat race action Rasdon charged from his 6th starting position to win his heat race to earn the outside front row starting spot for the main event.
