Jonesboro, Arkansas (08/31/10) – Hunter Rasdon enjoyed a great weekend by the wheel of his #R5 MSH Motorsports/ATG Electrical Contractors/GRT By Rasdon/Roush Yates Racing Engine Open Wheel Modified as he picked up a $5,000 win and a second place finish in the 2nd Annual Open Wheel Modified Motor Madness.

Hunter entered the 2nd Annual Open Wheel Modified Motor Madness at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tennessee over the weekend. On Friday night, a stellar field of 64 Open Wheel Modifieds entered the event, and via qualifiers, Hunter locked into the 14th starting spot in the main event. Despite starting deep in the field, Rasdon staged a great charge through the pack and would ultimately work his way to the lead and the feature win, which was worth $5,000! The victory was his fifth of the 2010 campaign!

On Saturday night, the team entered the second night of the event, and after a pair of strong performances in the qualifiers, he started outside front row for the feature. Rasdon would lead early, but would see Johnny Bone Jr. slip past him for the top spot. Hunter would maintain the second spot for the rest of the event, and that is where he would finish in the final rundown.

The team is currently unsure if they will compete anywhere this weekend, and will post it on their plans on the team website at www.HunterRasdon.com later in the week.
