I-44 Readys for Midwest Limited Sprints

Lebanon, MO - The high banks of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway readies itself for the Midwest Limited Sprintcar Association Racing this Sat. Night along with its full card of Super Latemodels, Modifieds, Superstocks, Factorystocks and Bombers.

"We are going to have a Special O'Reilly's ASCS Sprintcar show on Memorial weekend,so we will give a preview of Sprintcar Racing this Sat.Night at Lebanon included in our regular full show."quoted Randy Mooneyham.

"There are quite a few of these Winged Sprintcars in the area with a lot of local talent,so this is a good chance to showcase that Talent,and give the fans a small preview of what they can see when we bring in the bigger motor sprints."

Point Leader Dave Ware of Springfield will head-up the Late model pack, as 2 different winners have crossed the line first in the opening 2 races,and Ware will be looking to get his name in the list of winners this season as many traveling Regional drivers are expected this weekend in the area with no MARS Touring Shows Racing.5 time Track Champion Ken Essary sets second in the standings,and opening night winner Brad Looney sets in thirs place.

The Modified class has been a brotherly love battle as new point leader and last weeks winner Erik Maggard heads up the pack over Brandon.Superstock point leader mike Joplin will be looking for his third consecutive feature win,while Lebanon's Quintin Day holds a slim lead over last weeks winner Sean Williams.The popular Bomber class will see new point leader 13 year old Bob Maggard Jr. heading a strong field.The second generation driver recorded his first stockcar feature win last Sat. Night in the final lap of the feature.

Gates open at 5 with racing action starting at 7:30.
