Representative Bailey’s lawsuit against Gov. Pritzker was upheld in state court. This means the state is open as of today. His lawyer said the State did not ask for a stay, meaning they have effectively surrendered. Unless Pritzker has something up his sleeve we are OPEN!

The impact of Thursday’s ruling by a judge from southern Illinois’ Clay County wasn’t immediately clear as the governor’s office maintains other courts have upheld his orders.

Pritzker spokeswoman Emily Bittner downplayed the significance of the judge’s ruling.

“Every other court — both state and federal — that has considered these exact issues has agreed with the administration that executive orders protecting Illinoisans’ health and safety are well within the governor’s constitutional authority,” Bittner said.

You are correct, Penguin, he does. There is a press release issued by Bailey’s lawyer refuting all her points, stating, in effect, she isn’t a lawyer and shouldn’t act like one. But our King is downplaying his legal defeat and the corrupt media is following his lead. So sad .
