Armstrong-Evans Memorial this weekend at Imperial
IMPERIAL, Calif. (March 17) – Two features for IMCA Modifieds are on the schedule for the ninth annual Armstrong-Evans Memorial Classic at Imperial Valley Speedway.
Both Saturday and Sunday, March 20-21 main events pay $750 to win. The top driver in points for the two-day special earns a $500 bonus.
All applicable IMCA points will be awarded for each show.
Pit passes are $40 or $35 for association members. Grandstand admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and children ages 6-12, and $4 for military personnel. Kids five and under get in free.
Gates at Imperial open at 2:30 p.m., the mandatory drivers’ meeting is at 4:45 p.m. and racing starts at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. On Sunday, gates open at 10:30 a.m., the drivers’ meeting is at 12:45 p.m. and the green flag flies at 2 p.m.
