Inside Line Promotions - JACKSON, Minn. (June 10, 2019) - Jackson Motorplex will host its first non-sprint car event of the season this Friday.
The Tri-State Late Models, Late Model Street Stock Touring Series, IMCA hobby stocks and IMCA sport mods are on the program during the first of two events this season dedicated to the divisions outside of sprint car racing. The IMCA sports mods main event pays $500 to win.
Ted Pospisil bested a field of 28 drivers during the most recent Tri-State Late Models event at Jackson Motorplex last year.
Travis Schreurs and Cory Yeigh each won a Late Model Street Stock Touring Series main event at the oval last year.
Cory Probst captured two of the three IMCA hobby stocks races last year with Matt Hanson outlasting 25 other drivers to win the season finale.
Dan Paplow beat a field of 24 competitors to claim the most recent IMCA sports mods race. Cody Thompson and Josh Meyer also won at the oval last year.
The pits open at 4 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps start the racing action at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students ages 13-years-old to 18-years-old. Children 12-years-old and younger get in free.
