York Haven, PA (March 26, 2012) Barry Klinedinst Motorsports and now six time regional series champion Jason Covert of York Haven, PA are locked and loaded, ready to kick off their 2012 season this Friday, March 30 at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Covert and the KB Motorsports team have been hard at work getting ready for the upcoming season and the excitement in the shop is overflowing after their successful 2011 season which seen Covert reach victory lane ten times while capturing an astounding 38 top ten finishes in 48 total starts. 'We're just raring to go,' Covert said, 'with some of the bigger shows early in the season, at some of our favorite places to race, it's exciting for the team to get out there and get the season started.'

The bigger shows Jason is talking about are the April Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA (April 13-14), Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, PA (April 20), and Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, MD (April 21). 'It's no secret that those places are a few of my favorite places to race,' Covert exclaimed. 'To be able to race for $25,000 in mid-April and then follow that up with two $10,000 to-win's the next week, it gets the whole region excited, not just the guys in our shop.'

The 'Commonwealth 100' has become one of Covert's favorite events of the year and this year will be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the first time, the event was previously held under the World of Outlaws Late Model Series banner. 'Bringing in the Lucas regulars for the 'Commonwealth 100' will give the event a different feel,' Jason said, 'but that's definitely not a bad thing. Those guys, like the Outlaws guys, are some of the best in the business and we'll have to bring our 'A' game if we want to run up front.' Covert continued, 'We've had some good runs at all three facilities so hopefully we can run up front, maybe get a win, and pick up some momentum for the rest of the season.'

BK Motorsports and Jason Covert would like to welcome Crone Building & Remodeling to their team for the 2012 season. 'We appreciate all of the help our sponsors give us and do our best to represent those companies and businesses in a classy and professional manner,' Covert graciously added. 'Without the support of our sponsors, we couldn't do what we love to do.'

Covert and the BK Motorsports team will be in action this Friday, March 30 at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA before heading to Winchester Speedway in Winchester, VA on Saturday, March 31 for a $2,000 to-win special event. The team will then take a week off to prepare for the $25,000 to win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned, 3rd Annual 'Commonwealth 100' at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA on Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14. The team will then head to Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex on Friday, April 20 for a $10,000 to-win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event before making their way to Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, MD for their $10,000 to-win Lucas sanctioned show.
