(GRAYSON, KENTUCKY) Red-hot Josh McGuire's win total now stands at eight following a pair of high-profile victories over the July 20-21 weekend in the states of Ohio and Kentucky! On Friday night, the #41 team rolled into the Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio for the annual running of the 'Jack Shutts Memorial.' Josh set a New Track Record during the qualifying session, advanced up to second in the inverted dash, and later started the 35-lap main event from the outside of the front row. The Grayson, Kentucky hotshoe then grabbed the point on lap fourteen of the A-Main and lapped up to the fifth position en route to capturing the $3,000 payday over Eddie Carrier, Jr., Zack Dohm, Rod Conley, and Ralph Withem!

A day later, the Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) team stormed into the Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Kentucky on Saturday for the 25th edition of the 'Paul Butterball Wooldridge Memorial.' Josh once again earned Fast Time honors during time trials and later won his heat race. After being inverted to the third starting spot in the 50-lap main event, Josh worked his way to the front of the field to lead lap sixteen. "Bad Fast" then held the rest of the competitors at bay throughout the remainder of the distance to score his second straight 'Butterball Wooldridge Memorial' title and the $7,500 top prize over Greg Johnson, Eddie Carrier, Jr., Jason Jameson, and Todd Coffman! Full results from both unsanctioned programs can be viewed online at www.skylinespeedway.net and www.richmond-raceway.net.

"It was a tremendous weekend for us and I can't thank everyone who supports our program enough for all of their help and dedication," exclaimed McGuire earlier this week. "Our MasterSbilt car has been pretty quick over the past month or so and fortunately we made the right adjustments to it all weekend at Skyline and Richmond. There was a good field of cars at both places, so that makes the weekend sweep even more special for us. Hopefully things keep rolling and we can make some more noise this upcoming weekend at Southern Ohio and Portsmouth!"

The #41 team will look for continued success this weekend (July 27-28) in the Buckeye State of Ohio. A pair of $2,000 to win events will be held at the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio on Friday night and the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday evening. In addition, 1967 Super Modified Track Champion Wayne McGuire will be inducted into the Southern Ohio Speedway Hall of Fame tonight at SOS.
