(GRAYSON, KENTUCKY) Josh McGuire and his #41 Dirt Late Model team reached victory lane for the second time in the 2010 racing season on Saturday evening, May 22 at the 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky. Josh had set fast time for the regular weekly show back on May 15 before Mother Nature postponed the rest of the program. When action resumed on Saturday, Josh captured the win in his heat race to earn the pole position for the A-Main. The Grayson, Kentucky native was on a rail during the main event, as he led flag-to-flag to record the $1,500 triumph over Jackie Boggs, Michael P. Howard, David Powers, and Paul Harris. Complete results from the 201 Speedway can be obtained by visiting www.race201.com.

"It took us a week to finish the show and get the win, but it was definitely worth it," exclaimed McGuire this week via telephone. "We had a good car in the heat race and the feature, so hopefully we learned some things that will translate into a strong weekend at Wheatland and Granite City. Mother Nature looks like she is finally going to cooperate this weekend, so I am really looking forward to racing a good group of cars out west!"

The Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) team has two premier events on their racing calendar for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend. The #41 team will travel to the states of Missouri and Illinois for the annual running of both the 'Show-Me 100' and the 'Fed-Ex 50.' On Friday and Saturday, May 28-29, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the $30,000 to win 'Show-Me 100' at the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. This year will mark the first time that the storied race has been held at Wheatland, as it originated at the West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, Missouri and was held there for seventeen consecutive years. The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand at the 3/8-mile, state-of-the-art complex to tape the exciting side-by-side action for broadcast later in the year.

The holiday weekend will conclude for the team on Sunday, May 30 at the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois. The unsanctioned 'Fed-Ex 50' will take place on Sunday at the St. Louis area venue and a $10,000 winner's check will be on the line. Additional information concerning both of these programs can be found online at www.lucasoilspeedway.com and www.tricityspeedway.net.
