JR Motorsports Hawkeye Dirt Tour at Hancock County July 21

BRITT, Iowa (July 19) – Still looking for a repeat winner, the JR Motorsports Hawkeye Dirt Tour travels to Hancock County Speedway for a Thursday, July 21 show.
IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win at Britt, where the seventh installment of the series is billed as “The Prelude to 1,000 Stars.” A berth on the 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot is at stake and national, ButlerBuilt North Central Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded.
Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.
Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. Pit passes are $25. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods complete the program.

Consistency has kept Ryan Dolan atop the series point standings while feature wins have gone to Vern Jack¬son, Josh Ruby, Ron Barker, Mark Elliott, Michael Long and Dustin Smith.
The series is at Buena Vista Raceway in Alta Aug. 3 and at Farley for a two-day show Sept. 16-17. Final fea¬tures are Sept. 23 and 24 at Marshalltown Speedway.
