Justin Glover won the USCS Fall Nats.
Mid-South Street Stock Challenge at Riverside on Saturday, Nov. 12th
West Memphis, AR – November 15, 2016 – West Memphis, Arkansas’ Justin Glover used his home track knowledge to collect the $1200 pay check after parking his #40 race car in the www.RockAuto.com USCS Victory Lane in the K&N Filters Mid-South Street Stock Challenge during the USCS Fall Nationals last Saturday (Nov.12th) night at the famed Riverside International Speedway.
Glover was the K&N Filters Pole Position starter after winning the 10-lap K&N Filters Pole Scramble for the Street Stocks. Jon Stinson from Hernando, MS started outside of the front row next to Glover. Stinson took the lead on lap one and led the event until lap ten. When Glover got past the early race-leader. Stinson followed in second position for several laps then dropped out with mechanical issues.
Dayne Davis of Walnut Ridge, AR assumed the runner-up spot at that point and followed Glover across the finish line on lap twenty to collect the $600 runner-up check. Nate Campbell from Millington, TN finished in third place followed by Steven Holt from Lepanto, AR. Shane Waters from Jonesboro, AR rounded out the top five drivers.
Nathan Brown from Marion, AR, was sixth followed by Mark Dyrem from Jonesboro, AR, in seventh place. Asa Swindell from Bartlett, TN followed in eighth place Bryan Holt also from Lepanto, AR was ninth and Wayne Williams from Proctor, AR completed the top ten drivers.
Brandon Poppenheimer kicked off the K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modified portion of the event by winning the K&N Filter USCS Modified Power Dash. Kentucky’s
