LAMAR, Colo. (Sept. 14) – The Larry Shaw Racing Blood, Sweat and Tears Colorado Series roars back into action this weekend, with doubleheader action at Lamar Speedway and at Phillips County Raceway.
IMCA Modifieds travel to Lamar on Saturday, Sept. 17 for a $1,000 to win Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event.
Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. Mountain Time. The grandstand opens at 5 p.m., hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission will be $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $4 for kids 6-12 and free for youngsters five and under. Pit passes are $25.

Phillips County opens the pits at 2 p.m. MT and the grandstand at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18. Hot laps start at 4:30 p.m. and racing is at 5 p.m.

David Murray Jr. won the series opener at Lamar in mid-May while defending tour champion Will Brack was first in the Memorial Weekend event at Phillips County. John Hansen was first to the checkers when the BST Series returned to Holyoke on July 29.
Both the BST Colorado and BST Kansas series conclude with the Sept. 23-24 Flatlander special at Sherman County Speedway.
