Larry Shaw Racing BST Colorado Series at Phillips County Raceway May 30

HOLYOKE, Colo. (May 25) – Phillips County Raceway opens the gates for the third installment of the Larry Shaw Racing Blood, Sweat and Tears Colorado Series on Sunday, May 30.

The IMCA Modified main event pays $700 to win. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods round out the program, also running for all applicable points.

Pits open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. The drivers’ meeting is at 5:15 p.m. with hot laps to follow. Racing starts at 6 p.m.

Grandstand admission at Holyoke is $10 for adults and $5 for children, with fans 15 and under getting in free when accompanying parents or guardians.

Pit passes are $25.

Point leader David Murray Jr. of Oberlin, Kan., and Matt Brack of Mead were winners of the first two events, both at Colorado Motorsports Park in Byers.

The Memorial Day Weekend program is the second appearance by the SportMods at PCR. The class debuted there May 23.

Stop number four in the BST Colorado swing is Saturday, June 5 at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan.
