Paris Lawn Mower Derbies is gearing up for the 2009 season,we are planning on having 6 events with a point standings and a point fund for the series.This is the cheapest form of motor sports going today,so get them mowers out of the weeds and come join the fun!! Racingpaperboy, after watching the video I'm left contemplating safety gear. What would you recomend first, a HANS device or shinguards? On a serious note, if one of your derbies happens in my neck of the woods i do believe i will spectate

Lawn Mower Derby Drivers Wanted!!!

COBRAII,If you check out our rules on the website,we have addressed those issues with mandatory leg guards and back guards. This will be our 2nd season and in the the first year we had no injuries what so ever.We are a non profit club that donates money to local charities or anyone that is in need. This will be a real big year for us ,as we have a new venue on 6 acres that will help us with parking etc,etc,. This is a lot of cheap fun and generally you can run a mower more than 1 time.As for traveling to Missouri or somewhere close to your area you never know.We are planning on having a demo in Mayfield,Ky on May 30th,this will be a team derby KENTUCKY against ILLINOIS 6 ON 6 ,we will have a regular demo before this team derby.We will be using the rules on our website at www.parislawnmowerderby.com
