Lebanon I-44 Speedway Cancels Practice Night/Rescheduled

Lebanon,Mo.-With mother nature moving in on Southwest Missouri,and dumping more wet weather,Promoter Randy Mooneyham has decided to cancel Sat.night scheduled practice set for this week and has rescheduled it for Wed.Night with the gates opening at 5PM,and the practice to begin around 6PM in preparing for the tracks season opener on Sat.night April 5.
The scheduled practice for Bolivar Speedway is still set for Friday Night April 4 in preparing for its season opener on April 11.

The I-44 Speedway,which came upon the racing world as one of the top facilities back in 1983 as a dirt track,will return to its original roots this season as over 12-14 feet of fresh dirt has been placed on the 18 degree banks of the 3/8ths mile oval upon the Asphalt surface which has graced Lebanon,Mo since 1989.

The track well known for its strong weekly shows and specials will be hosting a weekly show invloving Late models(MARS/MLRA Rules),Modifieds,SuperStocks,Factory Stocks,Bombers and Pro-4 Late Models(almost every other week),and will host the O'Reilly's MARS Super Late Model Series 3 times at each track this season along with the O'Reilly's ASCS Sprints on Memorial Weekend.
Lebanon will also host 2 special edition Friday night shows featuring the popular Enduro Racing,and a season ending Sat Night Enduro.

Starting times for this seasons action plan on Bolivar Starting early in the season at 7:30 and then moving to 8PM with Lebanon starting at there traditional 7:30 starting time.

The tracks have hosted many National Sanctions on both Dirt and Asphalt such as USAC,NDRA,WoO,Artgo,Nascar,MARS and have showcased the area's and nations top drivers as Springfield,Mo.'s Terry Phillips captured his first ever Late model feature at I-44,Mars Champion Bill Frye was a 2-time SuperStock Champ and former LM Rookie of the year,Larry Phillips gather NASCAR National titiles,area top drivers Ken Essary,Darrell Mooneyham,Jamie McMurray,Mike Waalce and many others have had a tradition in the area.
