Lebanon,Mo.-The LebanonMidwaySpeedway paid honors to the 2010 top 10 drivers Sat Night before a crowd of over 180 people at Andy's 417 Catch Rest. in Lebanon along with the kids Go-Karting Champions.

Drivers Tyson Troutman of Houston(Central Bank FactoryStocks), Michael Stake of Phillipsburg(Energy Company Modifieds),Joe Francis of Lebanon(Coldwell Banker StreetStocks),Kory Barker of Lebanon(PureStocks),Little JC Newell of Stoutland(Midwest Modifieds) and Ben Newell of Stoutland(Rocky Ridge Construction Sportsman)claimed their championship trophies along with the top 10 drivers from each class.

Other drivers completing the top ten in the FactoryStocks included Ben Solberg(Springfield),Tim Jones(Marshfield),Chris Wynn(Hartville),Mark Davis(Grovesprings),Donnie Miller(Houston),Tim Petty(Niangua)Bob Gustin(Osage Beach),Matt Wilson(Mt Grove) and Sundance Keepper(Everton)

B-Mod drivers also included Tyler Brown(Stoutland),Ted Ballinger(Halfway)Eric Tinderholt(Lampe),Shawn Strong(Republic)Brian Myers(Lebanon),Wayne Graybeal(Springfield),JC Morton(Springfield),Colt Cheevers(Macks Creek) and Josh Woody(Buckhorn)

StreetStock drivers also included Brandon Waters(Lynchburg),Jack Hamer(Ava),Rodney Yost(Squires),Billy Waters(Nebo),Monk Barker(Lebanon)Josh Lewis(Stoutland),Ricky Brashears(Richland),Keith Cheever(Lebanon) and Andrew Cheever(Lebanon)

PureStocks remaining top ten were Adam Lowrance(Lebanon),Robert Doublin(Lebanon),Joey Long(Mansfield),Robert McGinnis(Lebanon),Les Hayes(Camdenton),Shorty Doublin(Lebanon),Matt Young(Lebanon),Brandon Knudtson(Lebanon) and Danny Caffey(Conway).

Completing the Sportsman top ten were JC Newell(Decaturville),Tim Ballinger(Fair Grove),Clinton Betts(Stoutland),Mike Jones(Lebanon),Bennie Joiner(Lebanon),Bill Joiner(Lebanon),Bradley McDowell(Eldon),Donnie Betts(Stoutland) and Sam Petty(Niangua)

The Midwest Modified remaining top ten were Earl Muilenburg(Sparta),Bobby Gough(Joplin),Rich Reynolds(Mt Vernon),Terry Williams(Springfield),Shane Bias(Springfield),James Ellis(Richland),Jeremy Manes(Nixa)Timmy Ballinger(Fair Grove),Tyler Brown(Stoutland).

Go-Kart champions were Colby Lathrop of Lebanon(Jr 1)Noah Webb of Rogersville(Winged Karts) and Mason Green.

Drivers recieving the best appearing cars awards for 2010 were Mark Davis of Grovesprings(FactoryStocks),JC Morton of Springfield(Modifieds),Jack Hamer of Ava(StreetStocks),Joey Long of Mansfield(PureStocks),Rich Reynolds of Mt Vernon(Midwest Modifieds) and JC Newell of Decaturville(Sportsman).Those drivers were presented pictures of their cars in action by the Speedway and Ryan Gilmore Photography of Springfield.Little JC Newell of Stoutland took home overall Rookie of the year honors as female driver Stacye Burns of Lebanon was awarded a special reconigition award for being the only female racer competing in regular competition at Midway this season.

The honor of the Sportsmanship award this season went to FactoryStock driver Tim Jones of Marshfield as the Speedway which started action in the Middle of the 2004 racing season awarded its first Hall of Fame Award winner as Veteran JC Newell of Decaturville will be the first name on the plaque to be placed at the MidwaySpeedway.

Owner Jack Jones announced that in 2011 the track will be running 5 classes of cars for the weekly points shows.FactoryStocks,B-Modifieds,StreetStocks,PureStocks and Midwest Modifieds with very few rule changes coming about.The Sportsman class will not be competing in 2011.

The 2011 season will kick-off with the Spring Fling to be held around the 1st week of April and will end with the Coca-Cola Fall Brawl in the 1st week of October.

Over 240 race drivers competed in regular points racing action in 2010 at Midway and over 270 different drivers signed-in for competition in 2010.
