Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park Up Next

Waynesboro, Virginia (01/29/19) – Logan Roberson brought his 2019 season to life over the weekend with a trip south to East Alabama Motor Speedway for the 44th annual National 100. When the final checkered flag dropped on the weekend, he was credited with a third-place finish in his Wynbridge Inc. #17 BTS Towing Service/ XR1 Rocket Chassis Crate Late Model.

“Obviously we went to win, but I can’t complain with a third-place finish,” Roberson said. “We qualified third and ran third, but the car felt good. We were also able to get some small issues lined out, and I think that will help us hit the ground running at East Bay this week. A very special thanks goes out to everyone, who helps me on this hot rod. Hopefully, we can get our first win in Florida.”

Saturday afternoon found Logan Roberson kicking off the 2019 season at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) with the 44th annual National 100.

With 18 Crate Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Roberson registered the second fastest in his qualifying group, locking him into the third-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main on Sunday.

Holding his spot throughout the 40 lapper, Logan crossed the finish line in third behind Mark Whitener and Jimmy Thomas with Ahnna Parkhurst and Rodgerick Dykes completing the Top 5.
