Lebanon,Mo.-Despite a late afternoon light drizzle that came in and out during the evening the LebanonMidwaySpeedway was able to get their second round of the chase for the Championship as the speedway produced a very racy and smooth surface all night long with several drivers grabbing their first victories of the season.

The FactoryStocks started the action off with Tyson Troutman grabbing the early lead from his pole position with Donnie Miller and defending point champion Bob Gustin following as the trio were side by side while Chris Wynn was riding the top groove battling Mark Davis.Current point leader Ben Solberg had charged from 11th to 6th by lap 5,but would pull in with problems. With Troutman looking strong,Gustin moved around Miller to take second and began his charge for the lead. With Troutman finding Gustin riding the top groove and Troutman down low the deciding factor would happen on lap 11 as Troutman got sideways allowing Gustin to grab the lead coming out of turn 4.On lap 12 the yellow waved as Jay Flinn spun off turn 2 right in front of the leaders bunching the field up.With Gustin out in front,Donnie Miller began to apply pressure during the last 3 laps to Gustin and pulled even twice coming out of turn 2,but Gustin withstood the challange to grab his first win of the season followed closely by Miller,Troutman a fast moving Mark Davis and Mike Murzynski at the finish.

The Modified feature saw a first time ever Midway feature winner as veteran Wayne Graybeal and Josh Woody brought the talented field to the green flag with Graybeal getting the early lead with Woody,Wes Long and Jeff Miller in tow as the top four wer dead even. The green flag run saw outstanding action as woody was working the top groove with Graybeal staying down low while Wes Long was charging to the top lane and gaining. On lap 7,Sam Petty came to a halt in turn 4 bunching the field up.On the restart Woody again applied pressure to Graybeal while Long was trying to make it three wide on the FrontStretch. On lap 11,Long swung to the very top groove and grabbed the lead with Graybeal and Woody in a heated battle also_On lap 13 while racing for third place,Jeff Miller had something break while battling Woody as Woody spun bringing out the yellow. On the restart Graybeal again went low to challange the leader Long while Mark Simon had moved into third place battling Brian Webster. The final caution waved on lap 18 for debris on the track. On the restart Graybeal again tried Long while Wes was looking for his first ever Midway victory in a brand new car just purchased this week.Long pulled ahead by 3 cars as Simon and Webster were fighting for the spot along with Kolt Barker as woody was charging from 9th and coming quickly. With the checkered in hand,Long grabbed his First ever Midway victory followed closely by Graybeal,Woody made a bold top groove move and captured third followed by Simon and Kolt Barker.

The StreetStocks provided another outstanding feature as Billy Waters grabbed the opening lap lead only to give it up on lap 2 to bother Brandon.Brandon stayed to the high groove as former track champion Mike Piercy grabbed the top spot on lap 3.Piercy opened the lead up as Matt Pilant took the second place spot on lap 7 over Brandon Water with Jack Hamer and Rodney yost following closely. The first caution waved on lap 9 as Keith Cheever came to a halt bunching the field up.Pilant had been gaining on Piercy during the green run and was applying pressure on the restart while Hamer and Yost were battling Waters for third with point leader Joe francis charging from 11th spot.On lap 11 Pilant took the lead only to see the yellow waved again. On the restart,Pilant again went to the inside of Piercy to take the lead as Piercy pulled even going into turn 3.Pilant took the top spot back as Rodney yost had moved into third and was gaining on the lead duo.Pilant withstood several challanges from Piercy to take his first win of the season with Piercy,Yost,Hamer and point leader joe Francis following.

The LateModelSportsman class was a wild feature with the short field of cars.On the start front row drivers Bennie Joiner and JC Newell got together with Joiner having rearend issues ending his night. On the restart,Spring fling winner JC Newell grabbed the lead early with defending champion Ben Newell moving from 5th to second on lap 4 and the side by side battle was on until lap 6 when Ben took the lead. This lasted until lap 8 when Ben came to a halt with problems ending his night while JC and Clinton Betts had got together. On the restart,Tim Ballinger took the lead as Clinton Betts took over on lap 9 and never looked back in taking his first feature win of the season and his second carrer victory while JC Newell recovered to finish second and Tim Ballinger following in third place.

The PureStock class had Robert McGinnis grab the early lead until lap 3 when Danny Caffey set sail in the middle groove and never looked back in taking his first win of the 2010 season and his second career victory in PureStock competition.Following Caffey to the line were point leader Grant Sharp,Joey Long,McGinnis and Corey Barker completing the top 5.

The Midwest Modz had two drivers compete as their feature was scheduled after a small rain delay.Newcomer Tommy McBride grabbed the lead over Rookie JC Newell. Both drivers were battling a slick condition as McBride had opened up a full straightaway advantage. As the track dried even more,McBridge was pushing up the track in turn 2 as Newell was chewing up alot of the ground. As the drivers took the white flag on the 12 lap feature,McBride again went up the track and Newell took full advantage by taking over the lead and withstood a last lap challange by McBride in taking his 2nd win of the season and first point victory.
