Brad Loyet of Sunset Hills, MO wins the 30 lap O’Reilly POWRi National Midget event at the Morgan County Speedway. Loyet took advantage of his outside front row starting position and never looked back. The battle of the night was for second between Brad Kuhn and Nick Knepper swapping slide jobs over the last five laps with Kuhn taking the runner up position followed by Knepper, Tim Siner and Daniel Adler rounding out the top five. Heat race winners were Brad Loyet, Don O’Keefe, Derek Rossio, and Nick Knepper. Brad Kuhn won the semi.

Derek King of Vienna, IL won the 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprint 20 Lap A-main from his second row outside starting position. Caleb Graybeal held off Kara King for second with Spencer Montgomery and Mike Dicely of Pennsylvania rounding out the top five.

Jacksonville, IL - Scott Hatton of Roscoe, IL won the second night of the
O'Reilly POWRi National Midget Series double header at the Morgan County
Speedway in Jacksonville, IL. Hatton, who started outside front row, chased
Aaron Berryhill who led the first half of the event. A spin in turn two
brought out the caution and while the yellow came out Berryhill spun coming
out of turn four giving Hatton the lead. Hatton was chased by Nick Knepper
and Andrew Felker with Felker falling off the pace with five laps to go.
Hatton won by six car lengths over Knepper, Brad Kuhn, Daniel Adler and Tim
Siner rounding out the top five. Knepper now leads the POWRi points chase
over Siner, Felker, Adler and Kuhn heading into the Dana Godfrey Memorial
Wednesday July 22 at Macon Speedway in Macon, IL for Kasey Kahne night.
Heat race winners were Bob Shreffler, Travis Berryhill and Daniel Adler.
Brad Kuhn won the semi.

Mike Dicely of Etters, PA won the 20 lap O'Reilly POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro
Sprint event. Dicely won the 10 lap semi to transfer into the main event
and started 18th in the 22 car A-main. Dicely weaved his way through
traffic and found himself right behind series point leader and two time
POWRi champ Derek King. With five laps to go Dicely dove under King coming
out of turn two and never looked back winning by five car lengths over King
followed by Ryan Guyett, Kara King and Andrew Felker rounding out the top
five. The POWRi 600cc Micro Sprints will also be part of the program for
Kasey Kahne night at Macon Speedway.
