Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (May 26, 2010) – The Lucas Oil ASCS National Sprint Cars presented by K&N Filters title contenders are chomping at the bit, ready to get back into action.

After all, it’s been nearly seven weeks since Zach Chappell topped a non-stop Lucas Oil Sprint Car 35-lapper at Little Rock’s I-30 Speedway just to remind everybody of his $60,000 title intentions. But, with Riverside’s Rock ‘N Roll 50 originally scheduled for April 23-24 pushed back to October by rain, most of the series contenders have been picking and choosing their spots to stay sharp for the events that count.

Now, it’s that time. And a golf scramble, ASCS driver meet and greet, parade and more accompany two full nights of the Second Annual Boot Hill Casino Steve King Memorial at the Jetmore Motorplex in Jetmore, KS, on Saturday and Sunday night.

Weekend Weather:

Highs in the low to mid 80’s and lows around 60-ish with minimal chance of precipitation set up an ideal weekend of Lucas Oil ASCS National action atop the semi-banked, 3/8-mile Jetmore Motorplex dirt oval.
