The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series comes to life on ESPN2 this Sunday Afternoon, July 3rd with a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events to be shown back to back to 90 million households nationwide.
The July 3rd Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events on ESPN2 will kick off at 1 PM Central/2 PM Eastern with the first airing of the "Spring Shootout" taped May 21st at the LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois. The 50 lap $10,000 event would be won by Jimmy Mars who comes from the 14th starting spot to claim victory in this exciting event. The LaSalle race will be re-broadcast on Thursday, July 14th at 2 PM Eastern/1 PM Central.
The second part of the doubleheader on Sunday will begin at 2:30 PM Eastern/1:30 PM Central with the re-broadcast of the Farley Speedway event taped on May 20th "The Palace of Speed" in Farley, Iowa is showcased again as Scott James scores his first career Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event after starting 12th
The dirt slinging, highly competitive Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will have 13 events taped in 2005 for broadcast on ESPN2. Along with ESPN2 the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is committed to showcasing the sponsors, race tracks and the race teams to an audience that is now up to 90 million households across the nation.
