Series to continue as “Malta Windows and Doors AMRA Modified Series"

"Quality is the driving force behind the success of Malta.

By Scott Wolfe
MOUNT ALTO, WV-The American Motor Racing Association (AMRA), one of the nation's oldest and most renowned sanctioning bodies of open wheel race cars, has continued its union with one of the world's most prestigious craftsmen of windows and doors--The Malta Window and Door Company. The regional series will continue to be known as the Malta Doors and Windows AMRA Modified Series.
As the World's second largest manufacturer of Doors and Windows, the name Malta has been associated with windows since 1889. From the very beginning Malta shipped an average of 6000 window frames a month via the B&O Railroad and by barge on the Muskingum River in Ohio. For the past 120 years-plus Malta has been a producer of wood and clad-wood windows primarily sold east of the Mississippi.
Said AMRA President Larry Keefer, "Continuing our relationship with Malta Doors and Windows is something that speaks highly of our organization and the commitment that Malta Doors and Windows has to our drivers. Hopefully we can continue a long-lasting relationship, and a relationship that spells success for both Malta and the AMRA."
Malta Windows & Doors has brought the latest manufacturing techniques to the second oldest window manufacturer in the USA. Quality is the driving force behind the success of Malta.
“Beautiful Malta Windows and Doors--Beyond Traditional” is the company slogan. A Malta addition can enhance any home improvement project, while at the same time improving energy efficiency of one's home.
Another key to Malta's success is that Malta produces quality wood windows and doors at a reasonable price, emphasizing only the finest craftsmanship. Malta’s products are built to give customers a lifetime of beautiful operation backed by the Malta lifetime warranty.
Based in Mt. Alto, West Virginia, the AMRA is a National Sanctioning Body specializing in Open Wheel Modified auto racing all across the nation. AMRA race tracks are primarily dirt and range in size from 1/4 to 5/8 mile.
In 1993, AMRA began with only three tracks running the division. Today the AMRA sanctions weekly racing, known as the National Series, in Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and surrounding states. Each year AMRA sanctions hundreds of events at weekly sanctioned race tracks. In 2009 added a Late Model sanction to the series racing menu.
"With the exposure the AMRA can provide Malta, both through the local series and our national tour," said Keefer, "this looks to be a perfect union. We are honored again to have Malta step to the plate as our title sponsor.”
