Fireworks will start early this weekend as the stars and cars of the MARS DIRTcar Series descend upon the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, IA bringing a field loaded with the nation’s top late model drivers in a $3,000 to win slobber-knocker set for Thursday July 1st at the “Mahaska County Monster”.
Driver’s expected to be in attendance include 5-time and defending MARS champion Terry Phillips of Springfield, MO; Kyle Berck of Marquette, NE; 2009 MARS Rookie of the year and current point leader Eric Turner of Springfield, MO; 2007 MARS Rookie of the year Jeremy Payne of Springfield, MO; Dave Eckrich of Oxford, IA; Chris Spieker of Massena, IA; Denny Eckrich of Tiffin, IA; John Anderson of Omaha, NE; Bryant Goldsmith of Corning, IA and many more!

Pits open at 5:00pm, grandstands open at 5:30pm, hot laps begin at 7:15pm and racing starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and children under 6 always get in for FREE.
