MARS readies for Missouri doubleheader

The MARS DIRTcar Series will be back in action next weekend with a pair of Missouri events. On June 25th, MARS will make it's first ever visit to the historic 1/2 mile at the Missouri State Fair Speedway. From there, the action will move to the Quick Quarter mile at the Springfield Raceway for the Andy's Frozen Custard / John Kuntz Memorial on June 26th.

Current point leader and 2009 Rookie of the Year, Eric Turner of Springfield, MO will lead the martians into battle along with five time and defending MARS DIRTcar Series champion Terry Phillips of Springfield, MO; Jeremy Payne of Springfield, MO; Darrell Mooneyham of Verona, MO; Brandon McCormick of Lebanon, MO; Gary Christian of Broken Bow, OK; Rylan Long of Lockwood, MO; Dustin Mooneyham of Aurora, MO; Leroy Johnson of Springfield, MO and many more.

The Missouri State Fair Speedway is located in Sedalia, MO. Directions can be found on the track's website, www.missouristatefairspeedway.com. Admission prices and general information can be obtained by calling the track office at 660-827-0198. Pit gates open at 4:30pm. Grandstand gates open at 5:30pm and hot laps are set to begin at 7:00pm.

The Springfield Raceway is located in Springfield, MO. Directions can be found on the track's website, www.springfieldraceway.com. Admission prices and general information can be obtained by calling the track office at 417-863-0097. Pit gates open at 4:00pm. Grandstand gates open at 5:00pm and hot laps are set to begin at 6:15pm.
