A Great crowd turned out For Old Timer's Vintage / Modified "Topless night". Fans got to mingle with history last night and share racing Stories with Kenny Shrum, Willie Johnston, Marv Pruett & Charlie Johnson!

Ninety five cars filled the pits as the Gateway Vintage cars made their annual appearance to run the "Ronnie Bahl Memorial" Race! Don Kleins restored cars paced the 15 car field to the Green, which included the Restored Hammerle War Wagon Gremlin. Dustin McClintock was victorious in his #61 coupe Leading only the last three laps!

It was "Topless" Night for the Modifieds and the fans got to see the drivers in action. Roofless they took to the track for the 20 lap feature. Current point leader Brett Korves would lead the field to the start. Dean Hoffman would power to the early lead around the high side with Korves, Aaron Kleine and Brian Bielong bearing down on him. A few laps later Kleine would slip past Hoffman using the cushion and take the point. On lap 19 that same cushion in turns 1&2 would reach out and grab his #13 machine and momentarily slow his momentum allowing Bielong and Hoffman back in the picture.

Bielong powered up along side coming to the white flag, Hoffman right there as well. With the fans on their feet roaring Kleine was able to regroup and hit his marks on the final lap beating Bielong to the checker by just a couple of feet. Hoffman a very close third, Bobby Bittle fourth & Mike Haas Fifth.

An always Steller field of 24 Super Late Models put on some great racing with Rodney "Starman" Standerfer, Vince Grondzki & Aaron Kleine taking heat race wins! Mike Hammerle took the checker for the semi Feature.

A heads up dice roll put the "Starman on the pole for the feature with Grondzki along side. Taking the green and the lead Standerfer would look tough to beat as he had his 28s machine working well on the low side. With each lap he would add to his lead while Frankie Martin, Kleine and Michael Kloos were moving their way into position hoping for a caution! As fate would have it that caution would come on lap 20as two cars wrecked in turn three! After the clean up Standerfer went back to his groove on the restart but 2 laps later "Fast" Frankie Martin would not be denied and stormed to the lead powering off the cushion. Martin brought it home for his fourth feature win of the year! Standerfer held on to second for a nice finish, Kloos rolled from 8th to 3rd, Kleine 4th & Jimmie Gibson having a fine year 5th.

In the Sportsman division Stu Springer would hold off a hard charging Jimmy "The Saw" Cummins and would lead every lap to land his 1st A-Main of the Season. With his car smoking smelling like wires burning in victory lane it appeared his car lasted just long enough! After falling back to 6th or 7th Mark Schaefer would recover and finish 3rd, Joe Volluz 4th & Dennis Wernle 5th.

In the Pure Stock Class Zac Hoffman Pulled off the Hatrick with his 3rd Feature win in a row! The early laps were led by Brian Crawford in his #64 chevy. About half way it appeared as if Hoffmans tires warmed up and he rocketed past Crawford on top strolling to an easy Hatrick Win! Current point leader Brad Venhaus was 2nd, Crawford slipped to 3rd, Jordan Bauer 4th & Tyler Ratajczyk 5th.

The Pro 4 Stocks saw Aaron Wood extend his current point lead with his fourth feature score already this year! Ryan Emig was 2nd, Joe Swip 3rd, Austin Isaak & Charlie Durbin rounded out the top 5!

A Great Night by all! Bring on Next weeks "Breast Cancer Awareness Night"!
