(Warrensburg, Missouri) The annual Memorial Day weekend of special events is up next for drivers and fans of Central Missouri Speedway (CMS). The weekend features increased purse money for B-Mods and POWRi Super Stocks, plus, the second-annual POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprint Nationals.

On Saturday, Super Stocks race for a $1,000-to-win while the Lightning Sprints compete in their night one events. Also on the bill are B-Mods and POWRi Midwest (E) Mods for regular purse payouts in both classes. On Sunday, racing continues with night two of the weekend featuring a $2,000-to-win B-Mod, 30-lap main event. POWRi Super Stocks return for their second $1,000-to-win event of the weekend while Lightning Sprints finish their special event. Pure Stocks join in on the action on Sunday for a regular purse payout night of action.

There will be no CMS “track points” awarded in any classes throughout the two nights of action. POWRi-sanctioned classes will earn POWRi points during each of their appearances. There are no “track registration” fees for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday are two separate events with each night featuring preliminary events followed by main events with payouts each night.

Visiting drivers are STRONGLY encouraged to thoroughly read and understand the track’s general rules and guidelines, which are located at www.centralmissourispeedway.net/images/pdfs/2022GeneralRules.pdf, this especially important for new drivers to CMS who are not used to the fast-paced manner in which Earl Walls and the CMS crew enforce rules and run their race program.
