The O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series roars back into action on Saturday, July 7th with a visit “back home” to the Indiana roots of winged sprint car racing at Paragon Speedway.

A Saturday Night Tradition since 1954, the super fast, high banked 3/8th mile Paragon Speedway has been home to many of the best sprint car drivers in the history of the sport, counting among its champions hall-of-fame stars like Chuck Amati and Bob Kinser.

The Midwest All Star Series, the newest and fastest growing 410 winged sprint car group in America, will revive the tradition of winged sprint car racing in Indiana, bringing with it the thrilling combination of the speed and power of 800 horsepower engines and aggressive side-by-side racing by “everyday heroes” like series points leader Jerrod Hull and his closest challenger, Tim Montgomery, as well as the best drivers from the region.

In addition to the ‘winged warriors’ of the Midwest All Star Series, at least three top stars of the All Star Circuit of Champions…Danny Smith, Paul May and Bill Rose…will be in action, as will several of the Paragon regulars, who will add wings for this special event. Over the first three events, the Midwest All Star Series has attracted fifty different competitors. Saturday’s event pays $2,000 to the feature winner..

Paragon Speedway is located just eight miles south of Martinsville on State Road 67, then one and a half mile west on Union Street.
