“We have been looking forward to this race since missing it last year,” Mittler said.

Smith qualified the truck in 24th place for tonight’s CampingWorld.com 200 at Gateway. His time was 34.460 with a speed of 130.586 around the 1.25 mile track.

Mittler Brothers team has launched many famous drivers in the racing world including Carl Edwards, Jamie McMurray, Justin Allgaier, Brad Keselowski and Regan Smith.

“Smith will return as a driver and we feel his experience will help us attain our goal of a top 10,” said Mittler.

So far this year, Smith has qualified 14-place at Kansas and 15th at Texas. He even led three laps in Kansas.

The best the team did at Gateway was in 2000 when Jamie McMurray drove to a 15th place.

This year the team offered fans an opportunity to sponsor truck.

“For $20 we will put their name on the truck,” said Mittler. “We want run good for all our hometown fans."
