Less than a week before the action returns with the drivers of the O'Reilly MLRA. They will team up again with another O'Reilly Racing series the O'Reilly NCRA at the Mid-America Motor Speedway on May 10th for "Mothers Day Magic" but it's gonna take a real Houdini to make the Magic work. Defending Champion Alan Vaughn of the O'Reilly MLRA will square off with Kyle Berck, O'Reilly NCRA's crown holder. Others that should bring a bag of tricks include, Al Purkey, Russell Portwood, Joe Conway, David Turner, Rusty Dukes, Kelly Boen, Mike McCoy, Jack Simmons, Will Ince, and several more.

Over 40 cars are expected in the Late Model Field for the added prize money. It's the second night of racing for the O'Reilly MLRA as their season actually is now just getting started for the year. It will also make the second appearance for the drivers at the Mid America Motor Speedway. So it will be interesting to see who starts their chase for the points and how they shake down after the night of racing.
The O'Reilly MLRA held one of the highest car counts for the past few years and continues to have the caliber of racing fans want to watch. The best drivers of the Midwest continue to look for the crown each year. No fancy tricks needed to impress the fans. The real impressions come from the drivers as they manage the speed and abilities of the 600 plus horsepower cars side by side at speeds unimaginable.
The Mid America Motor Speedway proudly announced last week they wanted to include the O'Reilly MLRA and O'Reilly NCRA for all of their Late Model specials in 2003. With dates added May 10, June 14, July 12 and Aug 16. In the past the Start of the O'Reilly MLRA season and the end of the season has been in Coffeyville, Okla. It's looking like the fans will be greeted with several chances to see true Late Model action on several occasions this year. We want to express our thanks to them for their support of Dirt Late Model racing.
Also featuring with the Late Models will be the Modifieds, Outlaw Factory Stocks, Factory Stocks, and the Pure Stocks
