NEW FLORENCE, MO (March 1, 2008) – Montgomery County Speedway, the fastest little track in Missouri will open for the 2008 racing season on Saturday night April 5th, marking the 7th season of racing for the speedway located in New Florence, Mo.
This season there will be 5 exciting classes of stock cars racing under the lights on the high banked ¼ dirt oval. UMP A-Modifieds, FASTRAK Late Models, UMP B-Modifieds, UMP Super Streets, and the UMP MCS Mini Stock Division.
Dates to keep in mind for the MCS schedule will be:
The 1st Annual MCS Modified Bash on June 21st featuring additional payouts for the UMP A-Modified and UMP B-Modified divisions
The George Simms Memorial Demolition Derby on June 6th
The Gateway Vintage Racing Association on July 5th
FASTRAK Regional Touring Series Events on May 31 and on September 6th
O'Reilly's All Star Midwest Sprint Cars Series on August 2nd
Montgomery County Speedway will be racing on Saturday nights from April 5th thru September 27th. Weather permitting.
Gates open at 5:00 PM Racing at 7:00 PM.
