Montgomery, Smith, Adams and Dickerman are Feature Winners at SFCR

FARMINGTON, Mo. -- (Aug. 21, 2004) After making a pass of Jerrod Hull to earn the lead Joey Montgomery of Fredericktown held on to win the 25-lap sprint car feature Saturday night at the St. Francois County Raceway. Hull settled for second place with Timmy Montgomery third, Lee Dunn fourth and Daniel Adler fifth. They were followed by Jason Keith, Tommy Worley Jr., A.J. Bruns, Jimmy Hurley and Timmy Moss.

Moss won the first heat race with Hull second and Keith Burch third. Joey Montgomery won the second heat with Jeff Davis second and Timmy Montgomery third. Adler won the third heat with Bruns second and Jay Landolt third. Dunn won the fourth heat with Keith second and Bob Thoman third. Derek O'Dell won the "C' main with Jason Hunt second. Worley won the "B" main with Steve Short second. Hull won the trophy dash with Joey Montgomery second and Adler third. There were 39 sprint cars at SFCR on Saturday including Sammy Swindelll's son who was making his debut in a 410 sprint car. Swindell is a long-time star with the World of Outlaws sprint car series.

In the Sportsmen class, Chuck Adams of Piedmont picked up the checkered flag in the feature with Kasey Nations of Park Hills second, Doug Savage third, Kevin Mosier fourth and Charles Adams fifth. They were followed by Billy Mayberry, Kenny Harris, Matt Eaton, Mark Howell and Bud Boren.
Howell won the first heat with Jason Keller second and Bruce Boren third. Chuck Adams won the second heat with Leonard Betsch second and Bud Boren third. Nations won the third heat with Mayberry second and Mosier third.

In the Modified class, Billy "the Kid" Smith of Park Hills held off Kenny Kennedy of Farmington to earn the feature win. Mike Francis finished in third place with Brent Thompson fourth and John Bohn fifth. They were followed by Timmy Hill, Chris Boyd, Jeff LeBaube, Mike Crader and Danny Resinger.
Kennedy won the first heat race with Adam Parmeley second and Crader third. Hill won the second heat with LeBaube second and Brad Long third. Smith won the third heat with Francis second and Ryan Gegg third Bohn won the third heat with Thompson second and Boyd third.

In the 600cc Multi class, Tom Dickerman was the feature winner with Lance McKinney second, Junior Ferguson third, Casey Barnhouse fourth and Jimmy Bridgeman fifth. They were followed by Dustin Barks, Joey Boyd, Conner Thompson, Brian Keen and David Chilton.

Dickerman won the first heat with McKinney second and Loyet third. Thompson won the second heat with Bridgeman second and Paul Cain third. Barks won the third heat with Matt Dotson second and Ferguson third. Brandon Nixon won the "B" main with Brian Steele second and Eric Giessing third.

Racing action continues at the St. Francois County Raceway this Saturday night and the RAMS Mini Stocks will be on hand for their next-to-last point series race of the season.
